PARTNERS OF IFE ASSAS

The Institut de Formation en Ergothérapie (Institute for occupational therapy) was created as a result of the cooperation between the Versailles-Saint-Quentin-enYvelines University (UVSQ), the agglomeration community of Saint-Quentin-enYvelines (SQY) , the Association Insertion, Education, Soins (Association for integration, education and healthcare – AIES) and the teams of Ecole d’Assas.

Ergothérapie AssasThe Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines University is a long time partner of the Ecole d’Assas. In 2014, the cooperation between the two institutions enabled the opening of the Montigny-le-Bretonneux branch of the Institut de Formation en Masso-Kinésithérapie of Paris. The site hosts 30 students, the vast majority of whom have completed one year of PACES at UVSQ. Some IFMK students from Montigny continue their education through apprenticeship by working at healthcare institutions of the 78 region, thus helping to retain professionals in the area.
Ecole d’Assas is also involved in the creation of the University Department of Rehabilitation (DU2R) at UVSQ which offers a Master 1 “Ingénierie de la santé, parcours sciences de la kinésithérapie” (Health Engineering, Physiotherapy and Science).

Ergothérapie AssasThe agglomeration community of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (SQY) supports the IFE project which is part of the health policy for the region. SQY is actively involved in various institutions such as the Institut de Promotion de la Santé, whose mission is to educate citizens with regard to the health policy of the Agglomeration. As part of social action in the interest of the community, the agglomeration has developed a social action policy based on the inclusion of disadvantaged populations and the reduction of territorial and socio-economic inequalities (actions with regard to senior citizens, family affairs and early childhood).

Ergothérapie AssasThe Association Insertion, Education, Soins (Association for integration, education and healthcare – AIES) manages medical and social facilities for children, adolescents and adults with physical or mental disabilities. IFE will be located in the premises of AIES, focused on public policies promoting the care of disabled persons.

Finally, the teaching and administrative teams of the Ecole d’Assas, with their high qualification levels, have been instrumental in the completion of this ambitious educational project.
